Prof. Dr.-Ing. Martin Gaedke, TECHNISCHE UNIVERSITÄT CHEMNITZ | Department of Computer Science, VSR
Professor and holder of a professorship for Distributed and Self-organizing Systems (VSR) at the Faculty of Computer Science at Technische Universität Chemnitz. He conducts research, teaching and consulting in the area of Internet of People, Things and Services with a focus on networked organizations. He is a well-known expert in the field of lean/ agile, organizational changes and digital collaboration. He has led numerous projects, among them Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard and national and international organizations and SMEs.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Klaus Meißner, TECHNISCHE UNIVERSITÄT DRESDEN | Department of Computer Science
After 15 years of executive functions at the companies Philips and Digital Equipment Prof. Meißner has been proprietor of the endowed chair of the Heinz Nixdorf Foundation for Multimedia Technology of the Faculty of Computer Science at the TU Dresden since 1995. Furthermore, he has been Director of the Institute for Software and Multimedia Engineering for many years with senior professorship since 2012. His research interests include, amongst others:
1) Methods, techniques and tools for the development of intelligent multimedia applications
2) Procedures for long-time archiving and for adaptive user interfaces for multimedia information retrieval and
3) Virtual communities, social networks and organizations.
He has been leading numerous research projects, among others “Semantic-based Composition of InfoApps for Enterprise Search”, funded by the Free State of Saxony and in collaboration with interface projects GmbH.
