Series 7 - Management Center
Our web- based Management- Center is responsible for administration and monitoring of the status of inter:gator Enterprise Search Server. The user administration is by default based on Microsoft Active Directory and can be supplemented by users which are deposited in Management Center.
The indexing and search configuration items are realized by configuration XML files, which Are located in a certain directory tree in file system and should be include in backup. Input from users (e.g. favorites, tags, comments) should be filed in a table space of a failsafe database which has to be included in a Backup, too.
Securing the index isn`t necessary, because the index can be reconstruct everytime and optionally in a second system.
